Eli Dewitz was born and raised in Kansas City, KS and started performing at the age of five. Growing up in the competition circuit, Eli had the opportunity to be trained by and assist some of the industries top choreographers such as Sonya Tayeh, Talia Favia and Mia Michaels. She booked her first professional choreography job as well as dance job at the age of fifteen for The Strive’s “Keep Dreaming” music video and a short film titled “Anela En Rouge” that short after was chosen to premiere in several film festivals around the country. She continued pursuing dance and choreography afterwards at her studio where she created several dance pieces that went on to win National titles. In 2012 Eli won a scholarship to be an assistant for a traveling dance intensive called Dance Rogue and once she graduated high school in 2013 she toured with the intensive to several states across America. After taking a gap year to continue teaching and assisting she made the decision in August of 2014 to move to Los Angeles, CA.

Since her move to Los Angeles, Eli has had the opportunity to dance commercially, on set, in films, perform live and teach across the country. Some of these credits include Baby Bash, Drake Bell, Totsy, Hobo Circus and her most recent performance was in the 2020 Ace Awards as well as choregraphing for Mashup's International Women's Day show and a Mesh commercial. She has continued to study, work with and train underneath some recognizable companies such as Flock directed by Alice Klock and Florian Lochner, Body Traffic LA directed by Tina Berkett, Acts of Matter directed by Becca Lemme, Tigerstyle crew directed by Jeremy Finney and Catastrophe directed by Cat Cagliandro. One of her biggest goals became a reality for her in 2022 when she was invited to join Streetz dance convention staff as well as be on the teaching faculty for The Crew directed by Mollee Gray and Jeka Jane in 2023.

Through her 7 years of training in LA she has taken her knowledge and experiences and intentionally cultivated her own style of class that offers a place for everyone and encourages students to find their own unique individuality as dancers. Though she carries passion through all aspects of the art of dance, one of her biggest missions and reasons as to why she does what she does is to leave a positive and healthy impact on the next generation of dancers.
